Foreshore needed to transfer their data centre on a new, dedicated diesel generator backup system, the only space available was at the rear of two adjoining buildings at 1st floor level. Saradan were employed as design & Build contractor to design and construct for the project. The work included supply and install of the generators. a steel gantry and louvered enclosure for the generators, the new electrical switchgear required to connect the generators to the existing LV switchgear + all associated electrical works, BMS interfaces, CCTV and access control etc.

Saradan also had to obtain landlords approval, planning and byelaws permission for the works. The project was completed in 6 months from start to finish with no data centre downtime.
