In early 2020, CBRE employed Saradan as Design & Build contractor on the RBSi office restack at Line Wall Road, Gibraltar due to our in-depth knowledge of working in Gibraltar and our past involvement at the LWR site.

RBSi planned to strip out, redesign, install new furniture and refurbish the 1st floors at 55 and 57-Line Wall Road. Also the communal toilets and the core stair cases needed modification and refurbishing.

CBRE also asked Saradan to assist in redesigning the M&E services to match the architect’s designs. The “restack” works will also require Building Control approval.

The Site:

55 & 57 Line Wall Road are multi-storey office buildings, part occupied by RBSi. Within the building is several key business operations and 2 x computer rooms, handling very sensitive electronic data this requires an extremely high level of operational resilience. Extreme caution must be maintained to prevent interruption of any of the operational systems contained therein.

  • Strip out all interior finishes within the 1st floor
  • Lay carpet or vinyl in all areas
  • New partition walls
  • New suspended ceiling all areas
  • Refurbish landlords toilet & fit-out a new landlords toilet
  • New kitchenette, toilet and shower

  • Electrical alterations including new dado trunking & floor boxes
  • Fan-coil, ventilation & VRV air-conditioning alterations

  • Create a site compound with hoarding outside no57 ground floor entrance
